Expression of interest in building a web site with Connecting Queensland

Need a web site for your community group or association, but can't afford to pay for one? You can create a site as part of Connecting Queensland - for free!

Connecting Queensland is a project of the State Library of Queensland and sponsored by Telstra Country Wide. The service is free for non-profit, non-commercial community organisations and for individuals who wish to have their own web presence.

The site uses Telstra Web Manager (TWM) software to deliver a dynamic and interactive service to Queensland communities and individuals. Those with little or no knowledge of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) can create web pages, administer discussion forums, exchange documents and provide password restricted areas for community members.

Staff from the State Library of Queensland will deliver a full day training workshop at the Ipswich Library. Dates are yet to be finalised.
