Silver Surfers' Mini-Series - Internet Training for Seniors

Here is your opportunity to gain a basic understanding of the Internet and to develop and practice the necessary computer related skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

The Silver Surfers' Mini-Series aims to skill beginners in the use of the computer mouse and keyboard and to be an introduction to the range of activities that are available on the World Wide Web.

How the mini-series is organised

  • A ten hour mini-series consisting of four individual two-and-a-half hour sessions is offered.
  • The same mini-series is repeated monthly.
  • The four sessions that make up the mini-series are linked together and generally revise and build on the content of the previous session.
  • To gain the maximum benefit from the mini-series you need to be able to come to all four sessions.

The Silver Surfers' mini-series consists of four sessions.
