National Water Week - 19 to 24 October

In celebration of National Water Week, the Ipswich Library conducted a Community Awareness Seminar about water use & conservation. The session, held on Thu. 23 October 2003, was conducted by Dr. Ian Johnson, Advisor, Waterwise - Queensland Government, and representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency, & Ipswich Water (Ipswich City Council)

  • Benefits of "backyard" water conservation

As a companion to the seminar, the Ipswich Library and Information Service has compiled a package of fact sheets, reading lists (available to attendees at the seminar), articles and Web sites.
