Databases index information in books, magazines and journals. Some give access to full text articles. Try these databases available within the library. Online AUSTLII - Australasian Legal Information Institute - Full text Australian Commonwealth legislation (Acts and Regulations) and case law (High Court , Federal Court decisions) and State legislation & case law. Queensland Legislation - From the Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Counsel, Queensland legislation is fully searchable. The following sites are provided as a starting point in your exploration of what is available on law on the Internet. Australian Law on the Internet - links to law information arranged by topics. CataLaw - the catalog of catalogs of worldwide law on the Internet, searchable by topics, regions & extras. Family Law Section - Law Council of Australia - information about child support, divorce and family court. FindLaw Australia - legal information for legal professionals, students, business and the public. Law & Justice Foundation - aims to bring together a nationwide range of essential legal information including Court lists, legislation, Judgments and materials from Courts and Tribunals, private collections, legal organisations, and resources. Law for you - plain English legal information for family, immigration, money, planning and small business. Law Internet Resources - an initiative of the Parliamentary Library, this site offers a full range of legal sources. Law stuff - lots of legal advice for young people from the National Children’s & Youth Law Centre. Legal Aid Queensland - this site provides access to legal information for the community covering a range of topics on civil, criminal and family law. Queensland Law Society Inc. - assists the public by providing some basic legal information & advice on everyday topics. SCALEplus - the official Australian government provider of Commonwealth legislation. Includes access to Australian Law Online. World Law - a global catalog and search engine for law.
