Requests

Using the Library's online catalogue, available on our Web site, you can place requests and perform other tasks from the comfort of your home or office.

A Reservation Service fee will be charged at the rate of 60 cents per item.

How do you...

place a request?	check your borrower details?
delete an item you have previously placed on request?	change your details if they are incorrect?
check which items you have out?	check if you have any fines or messages from the library?
renew items?

Reservation Service fee

1. A Reservation Service fee will be charged at the rate of 60 cents per item.
   
2. The Reservation Service fee will be payable when an item is collected.
3. Failure to pick up an item will still incur the Reservation Service fee.
4. If a reservation is canceled before the item reaches the designated pickup location no charge will apply.
5. A borrower may accumulate Reservation Service fees up to a $2.40 limit (i.e. 4 items) before borrowing privileges are suspended.
6. This service fee will apply to:
1. Borrowers who place a reservation request using the library's online catalogue both within the library and from home.
2. Borrowers who place a reservation request in person at the circulation desk or reference desk.
3. Borrowers who place a reservation request over the phone or via email.
4. Borrowers who request a shelf check over the phone or by email and then wish the item to be held.
5. Items held at any branch of the Ipswich Library and Information Service.
6. Items requested by Inter Library Loan excluding those items assigned a reference status/to be used in the library only.
