Mobile Library
The Mobile Library provides a library service for residents who do
not have easy access to the static libraries located at Redbank Plaza
Shopping Centre, Redbank Plains, and the Ipswich Global Information
Centre at 40 South Street, Ipswich.
The Mobile Library vehicle circulates through and around the City of Ipswich visiting suburban and rural areas. Check the accompanying schedule to find the nearest location, and time that suits you best.

To the Residents of Peak Crossing and Harrisville
Ipswich City Council and the Ipswich Library and Information Service would like to thank you for your past support of the Mobile Library Service.
The Ipswich City Council’s Mobile Library will no longer service these stops as the Scenic Rim Regional Council have assumed responsibility for Peak Crossing and Harrisville.
If you still have books from Ipswich Library, you may
- return them to any Scenic Rim Region Library, who will forward them to Ipswich
- return them to any Ipswich Library Branch
