Books-Clubs-Resource.com - A guide to online book clubs and reading groups. This site has links to general interest book clubs, special interest book clubs and tips for starting and running an online Book Club.

The Book Group List - This active book club has been around since 1996 and reads a variety of contemporary and classic fiction and some non-fiction. Book discussions are conducted via e-mail and the web through Yahoo! Groups.

SeniorNet Book Discussions - An online book discussion group for those 50+. You do not need to be a member of SeniorNet to join, but registration in the Discussion area is required to post. This SeniorNet group is U.S.-based, but they welcome participants from anywhere in the world.

Bookworms - Bookworms virtual book club reads one book per month, voted on by members, then discusses the book via ICQ and Yahoo! Chat. The club reads a broad variety of titles.

Penguin's Reading Groups - Very good Oz site which has it all

Literary Fiction Lovers Book Club - This book club focuses on contemporary fiction, with titles voted on by members. Book discussions are conducted via e-mail and the web through Yahoo! Groups.

Good Books Lately - US site which is very comprehensive and contains other good links

Book Lovers Australia - online Oz site for those who prefer book discussions from home

CAE Bookgroups - For those willing to pay an annual fee for book packs and notes, etc.
